TEMPORARY ARCHIVE: decay as a method of understanding.

A three part publication project that explores methods of “archiving” decay— exploring moments of tension between humans and nature. These experiments and publications are used as a way to reveal similarities between human experiences and natural processes of decay, bringing us closer.

The parts come together as a set of printed items that showcase decay in various parts of our lives— with written content, abstract imagery and materiality.

Created with risograph, silkscreen, laser-cutter with materials including leaves, newsprint, speckletone paper, black paper, and vellum.

Leaf-constructed fold, accordion fold, sewn coptic binding, etching.
